Annual Report
(Jan 2003 to Dec 2003)
Sewa Organization
Impression
Man
has been internal victim of social, cultural, personal and collective
miseries besides being a prey of misfortunes like unemployment, poverty,
illiteracy and injustice. Many attempts have been made to serve the
ailing and suffering humanity. The concept of helping communities who
are suffering from different social problems, in the form of organized
work and struggle began in the late 19th
century. Moreover, these associations worked a lot for the alleviation
of poverty, establishment of international peace, provision of justice,
legal assistance, educating women & children.
The man of present age is giving the gift of death to
fellow beings in the form of drugs. Many children are seen using drugs
and wandering in the streets, squires, and gardens and inhabiting
themselves with drugs. They only have two options { either to go jails
or live on the pile of scrap. There are no hospitals and institutions
where they can be treated, so that they could live happily. Technology
has made the modern man so busy that he not the characteristics of
modern age but the ignorance of old age.
We should think! How constrained, oppressed and helpless
must it be to long for bread to eat, dress to wear and to crave for
books to read. At one side, we are claimant of humans prosperity and
international peace. We are in a habit of constructing are own castles
of wishes, desires and dreams. It is sad to say that the man of present
contemporary era has in fact gone back into the very olden time.
Thousand-year-old traits and customs still prevail today. Still we have
discrimination in terms of race, gender and status. We are still lost in
the different of black and white. The poor and the rich are considered
two isolated communities. Even today women are deprived of justice,
equality and respect.
-
Let's do something for their welfare so that they could also achieve their due status in every sense of the world.
-
Let's do something for the survival of those who are being neglected.
-
Let's work for the development, rights, welfare of women, children and the poor and deprived.
-
Let's light the candle of hope in shadows of oppression, poverty and ailment.
Mission
SEWA or
legal assistance, and help needy people in all respects. Furthermore,
it intends to make an organization wants the ailing humanity to be
considered sincerely to alleviate poverty, provide justice and

imperative to establish, manage and maintain organizations, which will
work for the betterment of common life on hundred percent non-profit
bases. The initiative of SEWA is
to make life healthier, comfortable, safer, secure, less forlorn, less
miserable, more realistic, optimistic and progressive. The paths of the
people must be decorated flowers and perfumes for the sake of human
survival.

beautiful weather the efforts belongs for the peace for life or for the
come free society and educated society or weather the efforts veiling to
protection of rights for women. So that they can become respectful
citizen of society and to solve the daily problems.

Sewa Organization at a Glance
2004-2005
As it has been stated earlier that Sewa Organization is a "Welfare Organization" whose objective is to help those people who are surrounded by troubles and worries. All the services provided by the Sewa Organization are
stated, in brief view, in the previous annual report. By the grace of
God, all those services, which are provided during 2004-05, are
appreciable and are also full of pride for the management of the
Organization. As every sensible and educated man is fully known about
this fact that Pakistan is one of those countries where almost minimum
children enjoy their childhood. Children are one side, here adults died
with the punishment of difficulties and worries after completing the
travel of the life. So how are the children safe from the grasp of
difficulties? Here only few years go and the life becomes a burden. They
have not only to struggle for their maintenance but the burden keeps on
the feeble shoulders of the children for the arrangement of food of the
other persons of the house. What will do the children, where the arms
of the mothers are exhausted, where starving is employment, where the
remedy of the hunger is also hunger, so there what will the children do
instead of selling their dreams after rising out from the half sweep?
The fact is that the children are said to be the softest creature of the "God". For this, they are compared with the flowers. Their innocence is
only delicacy and they soft and feeble plants are the strong trees of
future. These children are our upcoming yesterday and our bright and
vivid future. To safe our upcoming yesterday and their sprinkle in the
right direction is our fundamental duty. But in the present time, these
innocent children have to face hot and cool conditions like other
progenies of the world. A large number of children in the entire world
have to struggle to face for their preservation. The hard working of the
children is one of the horrible forms of the exploitation and is the
big violation of the human rights. Instead of this, although many laws
are made on the topic of "Child Rights" in this world and hustle and
bustle is also made, and we know that no one paid attention on their
basic problems. The reason of paying no attention on this matter is that
about 230 million children in the entire world are working hard for
earning, and this situation is also worst in the developing countries
because 95% of these children belong to the developing countries. The
big cause of this is the increasing rate of poverty. In these countries,
children, along with adults, are in a fix and are struggling for the
solution of their house financial difficulties after devoting their
basic rights like education and fun, and devote their childhood for the
completion of their financial needs. The figures of child labour,
produced by the different organizations, represent a dreadful form, and
every sensible remain stunned after hearing these figures and human
beings ashamed. According to the report of "International Labour
Organization", now below the age of 15 years are working of different
types in the very unsuitable conditions in the third world. In the same
way, the number of working children between the ages of 5 to 14 is 250
million. Half of these children (120 million) work full time jobs. It is
not enough that these large numbers of children are hard working but
these 68% are compelled to work in unpleasant conditions. Work of much
more hour is included along with the use of harmful equipments. Pakistan
is a developing country, which trapped by the child labour due to
increasing rate of population, poverty, defective education and no
access of proper education. A large number of kids are devoid of the
basic of education. As compared to urban areas, in the rural area,
according to statistics, about 70% children are working with the other
members of the family. Its basic cause is the poverty and there are many
difficulties in those countries where 42% population live below the
poverty line. Any programe will not succeed 100% with every effort.
Until poverty is not controlled, the problems due to poverty will not
only control but it is impossible. According to the second quarterly of
the "State Bank of Pakistan", 5.8 million children are included in the
list of those children who are not going to school. Consider it that to
whom we are handing over our future. Is our society peaceful and safe in
future? No. Lets co-operate with us to change the childhood deprived of
the blessings of life. These children are our future. We can save our
future in the same shape that the struggle of irrigation of these tiny
plants is performed well at the government and private level. The
government and private institutions and also the public should perform
his role. To end the poverty and darkness is the struggle of the Sewa Organization and
is zealously working in the struggling field with this passion. A
network is establish in the result of extreme hard workings of the
workers, from through different types of work and services are
performing in the different divisions of the Punjab. Whether it is the
training of the farmers or the matter of the education and training of
the deprived educated children, Sewa Organization,
according to his resources, is trying to be every possible helper of
the afflicted human beings. In the same manner, in the field of
education, Sewa Organization
is operating free education institutions, which are furnishing the poor
and deserving students with the jewel of education in which hundreds of
students are furnished with the jewel of education. In these schools,
not only free education is given but uniforms, books and other
stationeries are also providing. In the same manner, in the field of
health, free grant of blood and medicines are providing to uncountable
deserving patients. This work is actively done in the cities of Lahore
and Layyah district, while initial work is continuing in Bahawal Nagar
