HEALTH Healthy Life Healthy Nation Healthy Society As we know there are many hospitals in our country. They are such health houses that they are build for the services of the society and own a free health office. But it is not hidden that how needed people are treated there. We don�t point all the institutes. Some of these centers are really working for social help but we are talking only about those centers whose propaganda is to serve the people freely but in fact they charges the patients very much or the patients are compelled to buy a long list of medicines which a patient cant even thinks to buy it but if on the other hand any rich patient will come to the hospital he will be treated freely however _____________ It is the main object of Sewa organization to work with these hospitals as well as with the collaboration of prospers people to provide free medicine to the patients so that a poor may not face difficulties in medicine. Many people die with the certain disease without getting any cure because they feel that they don�t have any money to buy medicine. Sewa organization is taking serious measures to create awareness in the people of the society to face the struggling life with death so that to make a healthy society. Sewa Blood Bank: The members of Sewa Organization is donating blood to needy and deserving paitients since its birth..Sewa blood bank has started in the remote area of southren Punjab Distt Layyah.Office of Sewa blood bank is situated on Faisal abad Road Chowk Azam Distt Layyah,Sewa organization is working on varios aspects for the betterment of humanity. but the priorety of Sewa organization is education and health. Sewa organization is paying its full attention to educate the people of remote areas specially, who are living in the huts in desert.Sewa organization has obseved the need of health facilitis which are not available to deserving people.The fe male side is not well awre about basic health education.Sewa is operating its blood bank in Distt Layyah. Where our staff is working for people without thinking about day and night.Sewa beleaves to serve the poor and helpless patients. . Free Medical Camp: Free medical camp is another great achievement of the Sewa Organization. This medical camp was held twice in a year. In this camp, free treatment is provided to indigent patients. Health Projects SEWA ORGANIZATION is accelerating with a good pace and looking forward to establish a network for women in the remote areas, who will visit door to door and convince mothers of the nation for health priorities of women and education of the children. For which, about 50 women are involved in survey of rural areas to gather information required. There are insufficient numbers of doctors and nurses, especially in rural areas. Sanitation facilities are also inadequate; only a small percentage of the population has access to safe drinking water and sanitary sewage disposal facilities. Malaria, tuberculosis and other respiratory diseases, and intestinal diseases are among the leading causes of death; drug addiction is an increasingly serious problem. Pakistan was among the first developing countries to establish a state-funded family planning program. This effort began in the early 1960s when the Family Planning Organization was organized. The program ran into political difficulties in the late 1960s as a result of opposition by fundamentalist Islamic groups. The regimes of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Zia ul-Haq, and Benazir Bhutto gave family planning a relatively low priority. Consequently, Pakistan's total fertility and population growth rates are among the highest in the world. The zakat and ushr taxes are used to provide social welfare funds, which go to provincial, division, and district committees for distribution among organizations engaged in social welfare activities or directly to needy persons.
